Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about funding, timelines, qualifying and cost. If yours isn’t here, an advisor can help — see the contact page.
For a line of credit, term loan, merchant cash advance or equipment financing, most approved applications are funded within 24 hours, and many the same business day. SBA loans are the exception — those run 30 to 90 days because of the documentation and review the programs require.
Nothing. There is no application fee and no obligation to accept anything you are offered. You will see the complete cost of capital before you sign a funding agreement.
Four things: at least twelve years in business, $100,000 or more in gross annual revenue, an active business checking account in your company’s name, and a U.S.-based operation. Your advisor will tell you exactly which products fit.
Typically your three to six most recent business bank statements, basic business details such as your EIN and entity type, and a government-issued ID for the owner. SBA applications require a fuller package, which your advisor assembles with you.
It depends on whether your need is recurring or one-time. Recurring or unpredictable gaps suit a line of credit. A planned one-time project suits a term loan. Card-heavy seasonal businesses often suit a merchant cash advance. Buying an asset suits equipment financing. Large, long-horizon projects suit an SBA loan. Your advisor will make a recommendation and explain the reasoning.
Often yes. It is common to hold equipment financing on an asset and a line of credit for working capital at the same time. Your advisor will review your total obligations before recommending anything additional.
There is no prepayment penalty on our lines of credit. For term loans, contact your advisor for an early payoff figure — paying ahead usually reduces your total cost. A merchant cash advance is settled as a fixed purchase amount rather than an interest-bearing balance.
Most, but not all. A small number of industries fall outside what we can fund. Your advisor will confirm eligibility during your first conversation rather than leaving you guessing.
